Training that informs
the analysis.
An Economics PhD, a foundation in finance, and experience turning complex empirical questions into structured research.
Applied economics,
with a quantitative foundation.
I am an applied microeconomist with a PhD in Economics from the University of Glasgow. My work focuses on applied econometrics, causal inference and policy evaluation using longitudinal microdata.
My research experience includes empirical research design, counterfactual construction, assessment of identification assumptions, robustness analysis and heterogeneous treatment effects. I have developed these capabilities through independent doctoral research and collaborative published work.
The approach is structured: define the problem, assess the evidence and explain the implications. The aim is to make complex economic questions easier to evaluate and discuss.
